Powderville was the roughest, toughest, fightingest, rooty-tootin’ six-gun-shootin’ prosperous cow town on the whole blamed trail! That was until a new Sheriff known as Gila Monster took over the town. And while he brought in “law and order,” he also brought in his own form of brutality, deadly taxes and fear that drove away business.
Unable to stand up a self-elected, seven-foot-two, sharp shooting sheriff, with a face like pounded steak; storeowners were packing up shop and heading out of town. However, Howdy Johnson is a sharp thinker as well as being handy with a gun and refuses to be intimidated by the big bully. In a final showdown at the Bucket-o’-Blood Salon, Howdy rids the town of its murderous sheriff, but is it at the cost of his own life?
